The Breaking Dawn Trailer!

If you’re like me you’re already counting the days until The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part I opens. But  November 18, 2011 is still pretty far away, so we’ll have to make do with repeated viewings of the OFFICIAL MOVIE TRAILER, which was just released by Summit Entertainment.

If you’re not sure what’s happening here (what’s with the wedding invitation? who are the Volturi? did that guy just turn into a wolf?) I have a suggestion for you: read the books! Start with Twilight this June, read New Moon and Eclipse over the summer, and finish up with Breaking Dawn just in time for the movie to open! If you’ve already read the complete works of Stephenie Meyer, may I recommend Die for Me by Amy Plum:

Die For MeIt’s a heart-pounding paranormal romance set in … wait, is that the Eiffel Tower?

Twilight: The Graphic Novel coming soon!

If you’ve seen the bulletin board outside the library, you may have noticed the display dedicated to the new graphic novel edition of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, with artwork by Young Kim. This adaptation stays true to the original novel’s characters and plot lines. Twilight: The Graphic Novel is scheduled to be released on March 16, 2010, so until then you can check out some of the artwork panels in the library’s display case. Several copies of this new graphic novel will be available to be checked out from the library on March 16!
