Check out this new video from EBSCO to see some of the features that make Explora databases your go-to source for research projects! Remember, several Explora databases are available in POWER Library, including High School Student Research and Public Library Search. These resources are available to Ridley High School students and teachers on every on-campus computer and device!
As of January 2016, Academic Search: Main Edition and Science Reference Center databases have been added to the e-resources in POWER Library in response to students’ need for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) resources.
Academic Search: Main Edition has more than 1900 full text journals, covering biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion and theology and more.
Science Reference Center provides access to full-text, science-oriented content including science encyclopedias, reference books, and periodicals. The database also includes more than 280,000 high-quality science images from sources such as NASA, National Geographic, and the Nature Picture Library.
These fantastic resources will be going live soon and will open up a wealth of STEM resources for students across Pennsylvania!
