The results of the Pennsylvania Readers’ Choice Award have been tallied and the winner is … PERFECT CHEMISTRY by Simone Elkeles! This awards program gives you, the reader, a voice! Perfect Chemistry is an edgy, realistic, fast-paced romance. Just imagine Romeo and Juliet being paired up as chemistry lab partners … then imagine that Juliet has a disabled sister and Romeo is in a gang … and you will have an idea of what’s in store for Alex and Brittany. The cover gives away a few clues, too.

Perfect ChemistryMany Ridley High School students participated in the awards program this year. If you didn’t vote for your favorite book, think about participating next year. Each of the fifteen nominated books is written by North American authors and was published within the last five years.
