Great Books with “REEL” Appeal!

If you love reading books with a movie tie-in, this is your year! There are great books being turned into movies even as you read this. But no matter how good the movie turns out to be, you know that the book is ALWAYS better! At least, you will know it after you read some of these phenomenal pageturners. Then, when the movie comes out, you can impress your friends by explaining all the ways the book is best. Here are some of the recommended reads that have movie versions in the works:

  • I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore (2011)
  • Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (2011)
  • The Help by Kathryn Stockett (2011)
  • Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (2011)
  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (2012)
  • The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein (2012)
  • The Maze Runner by James Dashner (2013)

And the best part of movie versions of these books? MOVIE TIE-IN COVERS, of course! Here Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon represent Jacob and Marlena, the main characters of Water for Elephants. And that’s Rosie in the background!
